Kids and Youth Club in July 2019

June 15, 2019

We were proud to host another Kids & Youth Club in July this year. The event ran from 8th July – 12th July 2019 at James Cook Technology High School and was intended for students in Kindergarten to Year 8. Not only did the kids have a blast playing games and making new friends, but they put their creative skills to the test with arts and craft projects. This year, we also included time for children to learn how to play simple musical instruments like the ukulele. Music is a great way to broaden learning experiences and lets kids have an enjoyable time together. They also heard Bible stories and learnt the importance of eating healthy and living a good lifestyle. Following on from the end of Kids & Youth Club, participants had the opportunity to perform their newfound musical skills at a music event for their family and friends at Hurtsville Civic Centre which was a great success!
